Software Engineer II, Developer PlatformOur team is nimble, innovative, andrapidly growing as it creates the foundational building blocks leveragedby every data scientist and software engineer at Included Health. Weunderstand and anticipate the needs of developers working in a serviceoriented architecture, which allows us to maximize our impact withcross-cutting features. Currently, we are focused on simplifyingmanagement and rapid creation of microservices and fleshing out our IAM(identity and access management) platform.The Developer Platform team is part ofthe greater Infrastructure organization with a shared mission to driveengineering velocity. Infrastructure engineers are impactful,high-leverage force-multipliers and thrive by causally making the entireengineering organization more productive. • You have strong software engineering fundamentals and are able toapply them when faced with an ambiguous problem space.
• You care about software and are proud of what you deliver.

• You get a rush when you improve the productivity of and removebarriers from fellow engineers.
• You have the ability to interface with multidisciplinary teams acrossthe organization.About the Role
  • Create infrastructure software and high leverage tools, libraries, andframeworks in Python and Go.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of a robust IAM platform.
  • Plan and lead ambitious technical projects that address issues withhigh ambiguity.
  • Interface with a wide variety of teams to evangelize technologies wecreate.
  • Build cross-cutting features in the dataplane by using and extendingstate of the art service mesh technologies.Bonus Skills
    • Experience with Go or Python.
    • Experience working in a service oriented architecture.
    • Understanding of modern IAM standards.
    • Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Istio, orDocker.
