Software Engineer on Polycam's Growth TeamWe are looking for a talented software engineer to join our growth team to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention. The ideal candidate is part software engineer, part data scientist and part growth hacker, and likes to do-what-it-takes to drive impact.As the sole-engineer on the growth team you would have a lot of autonomy to execute on tasks, but you would also have the support of the rest of the fullstack engineering team.Skills & experienceThe ideal candidate meets most of the following:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Has previously worked at a startup
• Experienced with data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, pandas, BigQuery)
• Has worked closely with a non-engineering team (e.g. growth, design)
• Knowledgeable of SEO best practices from a web development point of view
• Experience with A/B testing and analytics frameworks
• Prior work experience with JS or TypeScript
• Comfortable learning new languages and working across the stackSome examples of the type of projects you would be working on:
  • Add features to our apps that directly impact sign ups, conversion, and retention
  • Analyze user data in BigQuery to uncover new insights and answer business questions
  • Integrate marketing tools, such as a customer support and customer engagement platform, into the product
  • Migrate the logged out pages on our website to a CMS
  • Integrate an A/B testing platform to optimize key flows in the app (sign-up, check-out)
  • Create custom dashboards for tracking KPIsWhy join Polycam?
