ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an engineer to join the System &
Design Technology Co-Optimization (STCO & DTCO) team within the IBM
Semiconductor Technology Research Organization in Albany, NY.As a
member of the DTCO Research team, you will be a contributor to
state-of-the-art logic technology development including process
assumptions, technology definitions, and power-performance-area
(PPA) bench marking for the world's most advanced semiconductor
technologies. Close and frequent co-operation with development
engineers will be required. Strong communication skills are
necessary for this dynamic team environment.Required Technical and
Professional ExpertiseAdvanced CMOS device, logic std cell and SRAM
architecture design - At least three (3+) years of
experienceFamiliar with semiconductor technology process,
ground-rule, lithography/patterning engineering and optical
proximity correction - At least three (3+) years of
experienceUnderstanding of technology Power-Performance-Area (PPA)
benchmarking - At least three (3+) years of experienceKnowledge in
Process Design Kit (PDK), circuit design/simulation, layout, and
Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools - At least three (3+)
years of experienceAbility to debug errors and solve
problemsAbility to work in a team environmentStrong communication
and collaboration skills (English)Preferred Technical and
Professional ExpertiseExperience with CMOS gate-all-around
semiconductor technologiesExperience in defining semiconductor
technology process assumptionsLogic circuit and block level PPA
with industry EDA platform such as Cadence or SynopsysExperience in
lower power & high-performance circuit designs5.Experience in SRAM
& SRAM periphery devicePhD in Electrical Engineering,
