Technical Program Manager, E-Commerce, Fitbit

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related Engineering degree, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of program management experience and/or an advanced degree with experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience managing E-Commerce efforts using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) integrated with Digital River's E-Commerce platform.
    • Experienced Agile practitioner with SaFE experience a plus
    • Working knowledge of ERPs (i.e. SAP)
    • Technical background with ability to quickly understand issues and craft solution approaches, partnering with architects, developers and product managers. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

The next generation of the Fitbit E-Commerce platform is being launched to scale the B2B and B2C capabilities using an E-Commerce platform, integrated with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The solution includes several other platforms and applications to manage the end to end process.In this role you will be the program leader of the E-Commerce effort to scale Fitbit's B2C and B2B presence and solutions. You will work cross-functionally across the Geo organization, as well as partnering with teams across the Fitbit organization. Fitbit's diverse line of innovative products of smartwatches, trackers and smart scale help people lead healthier, more active lives by empowering them with data, inspiration and guidance to reach their health and fitness goals. Our products deliver personalized experiences, insights and guidance through leading software and interactive tools to support our users' health and wellness. Partnering with Google will expand our resources and global platform, and we will be able to accelerate innovation in the wearables category to scale faster, and make health even more accessible to everyone. Responsibilities
      • Lead a cross-functional team of developers, product managers, privacy, legal, go-to-market, and marketing team members to sustain, and deliver a portfolio of E-Commerce efforts from concept to launch.
      • Partner with stakeholders to set the vision and direction of E-Commerce programs by outlining goals and objectives, evaluating and supervising multiple projects, and defining program controls/governance/standards.
      • Understand the people, technical processes, code and requirements to integrate dependencies, software release dates, feature development milestones and other deliverables into a coherent and workable roadmap and schedule
      • Manage and drive software milestone tracking and implementation, dependency mapping and schedule maintenance.
