MuleSoft's Field Enablement team is transforming how we sell, enabling much larger average selling prices and higher win rates by delivering insight and ultimately transformational outcomes to customers. Our primary objective is to improve field productivity, which is arguably the most important metric in our business. We don't just roll out a model that is already proven---we are defining the model. In the process we're helping a large number of individuals accelerate their careers. MuleSoft is growing at a rapid pace. With this exciting growth, we've recognized an opportunity to develop a centralized approach to our technical field enablement, which is currently splintered across several roles at MuleSoft. This new role will partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, Training, Services, Solution Engineering and Customer Success to define overall goals, priorities & programs to support the enablement of our technical customer-facing teams. This position will report directly to the Head of Field enablement and can be located in San Francisco, Atlanta or Chicago.-- In this role, you can expect to:

  • Define scope of team & collaborate closely with key XFN partners to develop clear swimlanes (rules of engagement, roles & responsibilities) for technical field enablement
  • Work with key leaders in the business to understand their perspectives, needs, and challenges and identify opportunities for growth
  • Act as a content consultant & program manager; Take a design-thinking mindset to lead the strategy, execution and continuous improvement of programs
  • Take a blended learning approach to include classroom, webinar, self-study, event-based training, and new technologies (e.g., simulation, podcasts) to help scale global programs in each region;--
  • Work closely with product and field SMEs to deliver product enablement; Facilitate & host trainings
  • Track and measure the results of programs and content, and regularly report results to key business stakeholders
  • Be a subject matter expert in our technical product
  • Manage a small technical enablement team & collaborate closely with the other technical functional enablement teams.-- Requirements:
    • 8+ years in enablement, productivity or technical customer-facing role
    • Product-related & people management experience a plus
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • Strong executive presence, communication and influence skills; ability to thrive in a highly-collaborative, cross-functional environment
    • Strong program management, collaboration & problem-solving skills
    • Comfortable presenting in front of large groups
    • Proven track record of producing and hosting educational events, driving adoption, and measuring the impact of enablement programs.
    • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly, to new demands; a high sense of urgency
    • Demonstrated leadership in delivering results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
    • Experience working with Learning Management Systems and other related systems and processes
