Development Project Manager - Regional Hard Cost The Regional Hard Cost Project Manager("PM") will contribute to the regional development team responsible for the implementation and execution of the cell site Network Deployment for the South Engineering Region of T-Mobile. The South Regional Development Hard Cost Team supports T-Mobile's network implementation by providing support and expertise for T-Mobile's South Region Engineering field teams in three key functional areas: Project & Program Management, timely and accurate network materials, and the deployment of cell site network improvements. To be successful in this role, the Regional PM must possess strong aptitude in one or more of these three key functional areas. What you'll do in your role. The PM will be responsible to:

  • Serve as Regional point of contact to drive performance on all assigned Hard Cost projects and programs, including project oversight and monitoring, problem resolution, process improvement, group facilitation, information gathering, and goal setting
    • Participate and facilitate meetings with internal T-Mobile teams in the field, regional, and national functions in support of the Hard Cost Team functions
      • Prepare and present project status updates, new processes, and process improvement initiatives
        • Identify, escalate, and resolve issues that impede program success
          • Develop and Implement new programs and existing process improvements to increase the speed and efficiency of network deployment
            • Help define, conceptualize, and gain stakeholder alignment on KPIs that measure Hard Cost program success
              • Support Regional Hard Cost Team as needed across all project management, construction, and materials programs to achieve the collective goals of regional network deployment The experience you'll bring. The Regional Hard Cost Project Manager should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

                • Cell Site Network Deployment Project Management
                • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and verifies audience understanding
                • Able to identify project-impacting issues and able to collaborate with team members, field teams, and cross-functionally to develop and implement successful solutions to business problems
                • Able to understand, analyze, and communicate information from large data sets to help make business decisions
                • Group facilitation, engagement, mediation, and conflict resolution skills
                • Strong skill using Microsoft Suite of Tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook)
                • General financial awareness including budgeting, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable
                • Project Management skills:
                    • Project Delivery: Contributes in the creation and implementation of key strategic and/or tactical activities to address business challenges and objectives in the Hard Cost program. PM is responsible for executing on tasks assigned for managing projects and supporting more senior team members to deliver specified requirements in support of the T-Mobile engineering network Hard Cost program.
                        • Resource Management: Develops strong working relationships with team members and fosters the development of cross-functional teamwork to ensure projects are delivered timely and within budget. Coordinates project responsibilities with team members and other stakeholders. Oversees the project work and resources involved within the project. Ensures efficient use of resources to meet project deliverables. Helps manage conflicts to resolution or escalates any unresolved issues to more senior team members.
                            • Project Scheduling: Develops and updates project schedules and plans with actual and forecasted deliverables and manages deviations from plan with more senior team members. Monitors actual project progress, compares to baseline, and reports progress against schedule. Documents and tracks all changes in project parameters and milestones. Produces project reports and notifications as appropriate and communicates project status to stakeholders and key project sponsors.
                                • Project Status: Coordinate and attend management and project team meetings and project reviews as required to keep the project team and management informed about the progress of the project. Assist senior team members to provide oversight, tactical input, expertise, communications, quality control, training, reporting, and general administrative support between multiple project stakeholders. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and peers to achieve a common objective.
                                    • Risk Management: Identifies risks in projects and applies techniques to assess and mitigate the risks using the help and support from senior team members and project sponsors. Forecasts the impacts on schedule of proposed changes and reports impact to project team, sponsor, and other senior Project Managers. Follows appropriate procedure to escalate potential issues to achieve resolution.
                                      Education and Experience
                                      • 3 years' experience in Telecommunications industry, with experience in any or all the following disciplines: project management, materials management, construction management
                                      • Experience in leading or playing a key role in the implementation of large, complex projects
                                      • Bachelor's degree
                                      • Formal Project Management training License or certification
