Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and driven HR Recruiter to join our dynamic and fast-paced start-up. The successful candidate will manage our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates. The Recruiter must have experience screening candidates and hiring for positions in the biotechnology industry including but not limited to assay development, bioinformatics, software engineering, and robotic automation.HR Recruiter responsibilities include sourcing candidates online, updating job ads, and collaborating regularly with hiring managers. The candidate will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.This role will be a contractor position (3-6 months, 20-30 hours per week) with the potential for conversion to full-time employment. Tasks & Responsibilities:+ Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of recruitment, employment, compensation, benefits and other related organizational practices and regulations.+ Collaborate with hiring managers to design and maintain updated job descriptions.+ Track all candidates via an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure ATS holds candidate history data that accurately reflects key HR recruiting/hiring metrics including time to fill, time to hire and source of hire.+ Source potential candidates from various platforms (e.g. social media and professional platforms).+ Develop and maintain a passive candidate pipeline by crafting recruiting emails to attract candidates through various platforms.+ Screen incoming resumes and application forms and refer appropriate candidates to hiring managers.+ Act as point of contact for external recruiting agencies.+ Provide coordination of recruitment projects and related services and serve as a resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, HR staff, and others.+ Handle and prioritize multiple ranges of advanced administrative duties with wide latitude for independent judgment and initiative, including scheduling team/panel interviews.+ Participate in and coordinate design, development, and implementation of recruitment projects and programs amongst supervisors, hiring managers, recruitment team members, and others.+ Screen and interview candidates and answer any follow up questions (via phone, video and in-person).+ Participate in job fairs and host in-house recruitment events.Requirements+ Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or other relevant field.+ Extensive experience with various job interview formats, including phone screenings and team interviews, and efficient recruitment is required.+ Experience in sourcing, screening, recruiting, and hiring candidates in the biotechnology industry, specifically in the science and software engineering field.+ Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS - preferably Workable) and resume databases.+ Ability to coordinate complex interviewing schedules for large team interviews.+ Experience developing interview kits and scorecards and implementation via an ATS.+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.+ Advanced in interacting with both candidates and hiring managers at all levels across the organization. + Professionalism, organization, and project management skills.Preferred Competencies+ Experience with Google Workspace. + Start up experience.+ Recruitment and/or hiring experience for the SaaS industry.
