Job Description:
SUMMARY: This role will provide HR partnership and leadership to
assigned subsidiary group, Kandu Health through the development and
implementation of HR initiatives focused on achieving business
objectives. The person will be a self-starter and independently
drive both hands-on tasks with an eye toward strategic impact and
planning, and will leverage expertise in the areas of HR such as
recruiting, training and development, organizational design, change
management, coaching/development of leaders, employee relations,
performance management, employee engagement, conflict management,
and more. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: + Primary contact for
employees and managers in assigned client groups. Build a strong
business relationships with clients and stakeholders and respond to
all employee queries. Develop a strong understanding of the
business and proactively support the delivery of HR initiatives and
processes. + Partner with Talent Acquisition and business to
provide strategic staffing and recruitment consultation. Lead the
assigned client group in identifying, interviewing, and selecting
qualified candidates for positions. Design and implement an overall
recruiting strategy for assigned positions based on the available
role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
Identify and implement recruiting and sourcing methods and best
practices. + Provide analytical and well documented recruiting
reports to the rest of the team on conversion rates such as passive
candidates who turn in to viable applicants, time to fill, etc.
Develop and maintain and report recruiting metrics + Participate in
development of and lead rollout and facilitation of employee
training programs + Effectively lead leadership development,
management/employee coaching, and performance management processes
+ Consult with business leaders and Total Rewards team on proposed
promotions and help manage the annual focal review process.
Participate in leading the annual performance management process,
including performance reviews and calibration, completing
compensation planning, and training and capability-building for
leaders in these areas + Play a lead role in employee engagement
and organizational and talent assessments, and execute best
practices for retention and performance management and leadership.
+ Provide guidance on and conduct investigations of complex
complaints or concerns that could result in legal ramifications or
organization exposure; assess the severity, involve appropriate
individuals, and facilitate appropriate action based on established
practice. Resolve employee relations issues through a systematic
approach with clear documentation and follow through. + Maintain up
to date knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements, and
ensure programs and processes are in compliance with all applicable
local, state and federal laws + Define, analyze, and measure
outcomes of HR programs through data analysis and reporting +
Administer employee leaves of absence per applicable regulations +
Maintain employee records, files, etc., and report on employee
data/metrics as requested + Actively promote and support the
Quality Management System, Quality Objectives, and Quality Policy.
+ Assure that you and functional direct reports (if applicable) are
trained on all applicable procedures and processes according to
Good Manufacturing Practices, applicable FDA and Regulatory
requirements. + Actively promote and support the company's
Management Review process. + Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: + Bachelor's degree in a related field or
equivalent experience and 8+ years of progressive experience in
HR/People Practices, including at least 4 years in an HRBP role;
experience in a medical device environment preferred + PHR or SPHR
certification preferred + Strong knowledge of HR practices
including recruiting, employee relations, performance management,
and manager coaching; familiarity with applicable state and local
laws + Excellent planning and organization skills, attention to
detail, ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced,
time sensitive environment Experience developing broad-based
programs and initiatives that support business needs + Proven
ability to build trust, respect, and strong working relationships
with leaders and employees + Demonstrated ability to respond to and
resolve complex issues with a strong customer service orientation +
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality + Ability to work
independently and handle multiple priorities with limited hands-on
supervision, prioritize work and projects, and respond to a
