ROLE OVERVIEW Benchling is looking for a HR Coordinator to support our rapidly growing teams in the US. The HR Coordinator will directly support our People Operations team with a focus on Onboarding, Offboarding, Internal Mobility and Benefits Administration.

  • Manage end-to-end execution of Benchling's new hire onboarding program for both US and International employees
  • Work with Managers for onboarding of contractors for specific departments
  • Work closely with the HRBP, IT and Finance teams for offboarding employees and contractors
  • Support the People Operations and HRBP teams around Internal Mobility, Performance Management and other People Programs
  • Help employees navigate and elect benefits as part of the New Hire Onboarding process
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive culture for the greater Benchling team
    • 1+ years of experience in People Operations, Recruiting or Executive Administration, preferably with some experience at technology companies
    • Good general knowledge of HR fundamentals
    • Prior experience managing employee onboarding programs is a plus
    • Prior experience with benefits administration is a plus
    • Familiarity with modern tools (we use Google Apps/Microsoft Office, BambooHR, Lattice, CultureAmp, Asana)
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to learn and take on new challenges
    • Strong project management and organizational skills
