Lodge at Marconi Line Cook - Now hiring for PM shift line cook
support!
We are in need of a skilled chef to join our team, proficient in a
variety of cooking methods such as poaching, braising, roasting,
charbroiling, saut--ing, grilling, frying, and baking. The
successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that each
dish is prepared to our exact recipes and meets our guests'
expectations. We are looking for someone with excellent time
management skills and a collaborative approach to support our
kitchen staff and maintain a smooth and efficient operation.

Responsibilities:
--- Consistently providing quality food preparation and service
--- Providing speed, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced
environment
--- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, prep and dish areas, and
equipment
--- Understanding and proper use of recipes and kitchen
equipment
--- Flexibility in executing varying events and seasonal menus
--- Maintaining Health Department cleanliness and safety
standards
--- Adhere to established storage and waste control standards for
meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products to ensure quality
food is served
--- Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes
and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and saut--ing
menu items
--- Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and
refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety
rules
--- Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential
preparation items for a shift
--- Demonstrate a professional and pleasant demeanor when
interacting with visitors, vendors, and associates
Qualifications:
--- 3+ years of cooking experience
--- Fine-dining experience preferred
--- Clear and polite communication skills with a positive
attitude
--- Ability to operate necessary kitchen equipment
--- Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a
strong work ethic
--- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED
certification
--- Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of
kitchen equipment and food storage
--- Hospitality experience preferred
--- Must have or able to obtain CA Food Handlers Card within 30
days of hire
--- Must be eligible to work in the USA

perched in the hills above Tomales Bay. Built in 1972, the Lodge at
Marconi was originally designed by renowned architect Ellis Kaplan
as a timeless space that integrated with its natural surroundings.
In 2022, we set out to faithfully restore the lodge with an
emphasis on celebrating its history while curating the amenities of
a modern resort hotel.
