Our bakeries are filled with the delicious tastes and sweet smells of cakes, cupcakes, cookies, pies, and bars- all baked from scratch, on-site daily, using the freshest and finest ingredients. Our signature Celebration Cake is a birthday staple on tens of thousands of tables. Our bakeries mix the nostalgia of the past with the warmth and feel of a modern, neighborhood bakery. Their connections to our guests and to each other are what separates SusieCakes from other bakeries.The pastry baker lead assists in the culinary operations by leading the teams with managing the production schedule, supporting & developing the culinary teams, and inspiring a fun work environment.RESPONSIBILITIES:Leads the teams by motivating, training, and developing the culinary team membersPrepare a wide variety of standard and custom baked goods according to recipes and standard operating procedures including, but not limited to, cakes, cookies, pies, bars, puddings, buttercreams, etc.Lead team in production of custom baked goods. Develop and trains skills in mixing, baking, building, decorating and inscribing productsAssign daily production to team members and ensure its completionEnsure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to all required food safety code standardsOperations focused: Operate and maintain bakery equipment, manage product inventory levels, and guest orders.
