Job Details - Locum Tenens CRNA (Walnut Creek, CA)

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,840 - $4,550 (competitive locum tenens pay)
• Location: Walnut Creek, CA 94596 - rotating between Antioch, Walnut Creek, and Dublin Ambulatory Surgery Center (Contra Costa County / Bay Area anesthesia jobs)
• Employment Type: Locum tenens CRNA
• Shift Schedule: Monday-Sunday, mix of 8 and 10 hour shifts
• Shifts Per Week: 5 (36-40 hours per week)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend
• Call: No call required
• Start Date: June 29, 2026

Qualifications - CRNA Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience as a CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist)
• Board Certified CRNA required
• BLS and ACLS certifications current
• Strong experience with general anesthesia across specialties: general surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, ENT, GYN, plastics, vascular, podiatry (including robotic and laparoscopic cases)
• OB anesthesia experience required - able to manage high-risk and busy obstetric cases
• Experience with healthy pediatric cases
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR (Health Connect) preferred
• Vaccination preferred (waivers considered)

Responsibilities - CRNA / Anesthetist Duties

• Provide independent anesthesia care within a collaborative care team model as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Administer general anesthesia and regional techniques across a diverse case mix including OB, orthopedics, ENT, plastics, vascular, urology, ophthalmology, and podiatry
• Provide OB anesthesia care for high-risk and high-volume labor and delivery cases
• Rotate coverage between ambulatory surgery centers in Walnut Creek, Antioch, and Dublin
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC EMR (Health Connect)
• Collaborate with surgeons, obstetric teams, nurses, and perioperative staff to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Adhere to hospital and ASC protocols, patient safety standards, and anesthesia best practices
