Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, rotating - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: /n CT Technologist - CT Tech /n/n Job Details: /n • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures /n• Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles /n• Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities /n• Track and retrieve prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation /n• Provide patient education on breast health and self-examination /n• Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation /n• Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays /n• Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and mammography service promotion /n• Take call as assigned and perform other duties as required /n• Ability to stand and walk 4-6 hours per day /n• Ability to bend, reach, crouch, balance, and push equipment as needed /n• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds /n• Provide care to patients across the lifespan /n• Required certifications: ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography, Active California Radiologic Technologist License, Active California Mammographic Technologist License, Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License, American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification /n• California Venipuncture Certificate required within 3 months of hire /n• Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience required /n• Full-time, non-exempt position /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare system provides comprehensive medical services with a focus on diagnostic imaging excellence.
