Job Description We are a well-established, small family dental practice in Oakland committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate oral healthcare in a modern and welcoming environment. We are seeking a part-time licensed Dental Hygienist who is friendly, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient education and preventive care. The ideal candidate is dependable, collaborative, and flexible in their day to day routine. We are looking for someone for 2 days a week, offering a competitive hourly wage in a modern medical building with safe indoor parking. The office is located in the Pill Hill area across from Alta Bates Hospital. Responsibilities include: Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing) Conduct periodontal charting and oral health assessments Take and develop digital X-rays Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols Qualifications Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in California Current CPR/BLS certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with digital charting and dental software Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
