Job Description:

PowerBack Rehabilitation, a leader in post-hospital rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated Speech Therapist, either CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence), to join our dynamic team. This role is geared towards enhancing our patient care programs that focus on speech and communication disorders following surgery, injury or illness. In this position, you will be instrumental in helping patients regain their ability to communicate effectively and thus, their independence. Your expert care and therapy will be vital in crafting personalized rehabilitation regimes that target specific patient needs aligned with our commitment to high recovery standards. Evaluate patient speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities to develop customized treatment plans. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care. Educate patients and families about communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Continuously assess and record patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed. Add innovative strategies to enhance speech therapy practices and outcomes for our specialized patient population. Strong understanding of speech therapy practices and principles. Ability to customize treatments based on individual patient's needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff. Proficient in the use of speech therapy tools and technologies. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates must be in the process or have completed their fellowship. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly preferred.
