ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Registered Nurse - PACU Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday with no weekends or call requirements • Start times vary with earliest shift beginning at 6:00 AM and latest ending at 7:30 PM • Float between pre-op and PACU departments, with primary focus on PACU • Maintain 2:1 patient ratio during day shifts • Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • Daily census ranges from 30-40 patients • Handle specialties including orthopedic, pediatric, ENT, neuro, total joints, urology, and general surgery cases • Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS • Minimum 2 years of experience required with ambulatory experience highly preferred • Travel experience required • Must have CA licensure in hand at time of submittal • 7-year work history verification required • Skills include pain management, procedural sedation, pre-op assessment and education, Phase I and II recovery, and various surgical specialties Facility: This ambulatory surgery center operates on two floors with modern facilities designed for outpatient surgical procedures. The second floor features 10 recovery bays and 5 operating rooms, while the fifth floor contains 8 bays and 2 operating rooms. The facility provides comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties and maintains interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and interpretation services to ensure quality patient care and optimal outcomes.
