Job Description Cardiac trained Anesthesia Physicians needed near Sacramento, CA A very established 2 person Cardiac Anesthesia practice near Sacramento, CA, is recruiting for a B/E or B/C Cardiac trained Anesthesia Physician. They want to bring on two more Cardiac trained Anesthesia physicians due to growth. The typical work day is split between 3 physicians, 2 physicians will work in the OR and one in Cardiology. The cases consist: Thoracic, Major Vascular, structural hearts, and other devices such as pace makers, Stents and more. The cases are dependent on the workday / emergencies as well. They average 2-3 heart surgeries a day, last year they performed over 450 cardiac cases. They work on adults only. The Hospital has a Hybrid OR Room plus 2 Cardiac OR’s and 3 Da Vinci’s. The call will be weekdays 1-4 and every fourth weekend. They cover one large level 2 trauma center. The Anesthesia physicians have a choice of either a W-2 or 1099 Independent contractor status.
