Shifts: 8 hour Days - Department: Infectious Disease (Medical

QUALIFICATIONSEducation Qualifications: - High School Diploma -
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or
university preferred - Minimum 3 years of progressively responsible
and directly related work experience in an ambulatory setting -
Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary
healthcare team - EPIC experience is highly preferred Licenses and
Certifications: - Active California Registered Nurse (CA-RN)
license - Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life
Support (BLS) certification Responsibilities: - Provide hands-on,
evidence-based nursing care within the scope of the California
Nursing Practice Act - Perform comprehensive patient assessments,
interpret clinical data, and develop nursing diagnoses - Plan,
implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in
collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team -
Monitor patient responses to treatments and identify adverse
reactions or complications - Educate patients and families on
disease management, recovery, and prevention strategies - Support
family-centered care by addressing emotional, cultural, and
psychosocial needs - Respond rapidly and appropriately to changes
in patient condition and activate emergency protocols as needed -
Promote patient and employee safety while ensuring compliance with
hospital policies and standards - Participate in team building,
unit meetings, and shared governance activities - Demonstrate
leadership, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning
- Contribute to the development of nursing staff through teaching,
