Job Description Job Description Job Summary The Registered Nurse
(RN) is responsible for the comprehensive assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation of individualized resident care.
This role ensures the delivery of high-quality nursing services,
supervises nursing staff, and maintains compliance with clinical
standards and regulatory requirements. The RN serves as a clinical
leader on the unit, supporting resident safety, quality outcomes,
and collaborative care practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and
initiate individualized care plans based on resident assessments
upon admission. Continuously assess resident conditions and update
care plans as needed. Communicate significant changes in resident
status to appropriate members of the healthcare team. Implement
nursing interventions, including resident education and discharge
planning as appropriate. Administer medications and treatments
safely and accurately. Serve as a clinical resource and provide
guidance to licensed vocational nurses and certified nursing
assistants. Conduct shift rounds to establish baseline assessments
and monitor quality of care. Direct and supervise daily nursing
care delivery on the unit. Accurately and timely document all
nursing care provided. Assume charge nurse responsibilities and
oversee unit operations as required. Ensure compliance with
applicable clinical guidelines and regulatory standards. Promote a
professional, collaborative, and supportive work environment.
Accept reassignment as needed to meet resident care requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of
an accredited School of Nursing. Current and active Registered
Nurse (RN) license. Current CPR certification. Bachelor of Science
in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum of two years of acute or
long-term care experience preferred. Strong verbal and written
communication skills. Demonstrated clinical assessment, leadership,
and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
