Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days -
Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Stepdown Job Details: •
Work 3x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with weekend rotation
included • Must have flexibility to float mid-shift if needed and
float to all CPMC campuses when census requires • Maintain 3:1
patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends • Provide assessment,
coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute
patient setting • Deliver holistic and individualized care
incorporating psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic,
and lifestyle factors • Foster collaborative relationships between
patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers • Required
certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS certification • California
RN licensure required • Epic charting system experience required •
2 years stepdown experience required • 30 hours of orientation
provided • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of
signing • 7-year work history verification required • Special
equipment experience needed: BiPAP, High Flow, Trach-Vent • Skills
required include post cardiac procedures, neurosurgery care,
telemetry monitoring, IV management, and wound care Facility: This
healthcare facility operates a 9-bed stepdown unit providing
specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex
medical conditions. The facility offers comprehensive
interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy,
respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The unit
typically serves patients with respiratory insufficiency, sepsis,
stroke, neurological conditions, and seizures, maintaining high
standards of care with modern equipment and specialized monitoring
