Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Burn ICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/24/2026 - Duration: 17 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn ICU position requiring a CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Burn Intensive Care Unit (BICU) of a hospital setting - 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, three shifts per week - Assignment length is 17 weeks - Patient population includes adult and pediatric burn patients - Floating may be required to other units or facilities within a 75 mile radius based on staffing needs - Provide specialized care for adult and pediatric burn patients in a critical care environment - Candidates may be reassigned to different units or facilities based on operational needs - Compliance with hospital vaccination policies is strictly enforced - First-time travelers are not eligible for this position /n /n Requirements/n - Active CA RN license required - Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required - Minimum 2 years RN experience and at least 1 year in critical care required - BSN required - Burn unit experience preferred - 1 year of pediatric experience preferred - CCRN, ABLS, or CBRN certifications preferred - Prior travel assignment within the past 12 months required - COVID vaccination and booster required for consideration - Teaching hospital experience preferred /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-663845.
