working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in San
Francisco, California, 94109! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year License: California
License required Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Level III
NICU experience - Experience with surgical patients, respiratory
modes, and line insertions Description: Join a dynamic nursing team
in a Level III NICU setting. Provide specialized care for neonates,
specifically those 23 weeks and up. Manage various procedures,
including PICC lines, bronchoscopy, and VCUG. Respond to
emergencies and demonstrate proficiency in all respiratory modes.
Ensure appropriate management of medications and treatments,
including surfactants and steroids. Participate in administering
care for patients with neonatal abstinence syndrome. Utilize
advanced equipment such as ventilators, HFvent, and CPAP. Maintain
effective communication with interdisciplinary teams, including
respiratory services and social services. Be prepared to float to
pediatric and nursery units as needed on weekends. Develop a strong
understanding of isolation precautions and patient care protocols.
