Job Description Job Details: Duration: 3 Months Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Administrative Coordinator / Practice Coordinator to support a high-volume specialty clinic. This role requires hands-on Epic/APeX experience, heavy prior authorization and referral management, and strong multi-provider and surgery scheduling expertise. The ideal candidate has recent experience in a large health system and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment. Responsibilities: Manage high-volume prior authorizations, referrals, and Epic/APeX work queues Perform front desk and back-office administrative functions Coordinate multi-provider scheduling, including surgery scheduling Handle patient calls, documentation, and clinic coordination (30–50 patients/calls daily) Support pre-op coordination, imaging authorizations, and provider workflows as needed Experience/Qualification: Required Qualifications: Recent, hands-on Epic/APeX experience (auths, referrals, WQs) Strong background in a specialty clinic (orthopedics preferred; surgical specialties acceptable) Proven experience in high-volume healthcare administrative roles Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience in large health systems (UCSF, Stanford, Sutter, PAMF, or similar) Orthopedics or surgical subspecialty clinic experience Imaging authorization experience (MRI, CT, X-ray) Pre-op coordination experience (labs, clearances, documentation) Advanced familiarity with Epic/APeX scheduling, referrals, and work queue workflows Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Education: College degree with 6 months of healthcare admin experience/ 2 years of healthcare administrative experience About US Tech Solutions: US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
