Job Description:
Hope Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assistant
Director for our Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
Programs to enhance the range of services we offer. Join us and
play a pivotal role in managing and expanding programs that provide
life-changing assistance to individuals with developmental
disabilities across the Bay Area. This role demands a commitment to
improving the lives of children and adults by overseeing the design
and delivery of services tailored to promote independence and
well-being. Oversee the daily operations of several IDD service
programs, ensuring high-quality service delivery that complies with
state regulations and organizational policies. Collaborate with the
Director to develop strategies for program growth and improvement,
and coordinate the implementation of these strategies. Supervise,
train, and mentor program staff, fostering a collaborative
environment that encourages professional development and high
performance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with
clients, families, and community partners to enhance program
effectiveness and community integration. Monitor program budgets
and funding sources to ensure financial health and sustainability.
Implement data-driven decision-making processes to assess program
effectiveness and make informed operational adjustments. Ensure
documentation and reporting requirements are met timely and
accurately. Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent organizational and strategic thinking abilities Effective
communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in data analysis
and performance metrics Familiarity with regulations and standards
in healthcare or social services Preferably certified in program
management (e.g., PMP or equivalent) Training or certification
specific to developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
