Admission nurses are responsible for orienting new patients to the hospice program, assisting the patient and caregiver with all legal paperwork, and completing a thorough nursing assessment.Qualifications:Good understanding of hospice rules and regulationsAbility to establish both hospice eligibility and diagnosis when patient is appropriateAbility to manage time efficiently to balance visits, documentation and meetingsWillingness to travel to meet our patients where they live (private homes, assisted living facilities, hospitals, etc.)Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and auto insuranceRegistered Nursing Licensure in the state of CaliforniaRNWCby Jobble
