Job Description:Prepares radioactive compounds following manufacturer's written procedures for administration to patients, providing for patient safety at all times. Creates Quality PET/CT and CT images adhering to the protocols outlined by the Medical Director, upon the order of a licensed independent practitioner for diagnostic interpretation by a radiologist. Maintains a high degree of professional skill and knowledge required of an oncology imaging technologist. Manages patient flow, provides exceptional patient care and adheres to all regulatory requirements related to the administration of radioactive pharmaceuticals.Education:

• Completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine program and California Licensure- Required
• Completion of ARRT-CT - RequiredExperience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a PET/CT and CT Technologist - RequiredCertifications/Licensures:
    • CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) through NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or
    • Nuclear Medicine Technology - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required
    • Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine - California Department of Public Health - Radiologic Health Branch - Required
    • CT (Computed Tomography) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Required
    • BLS Basic Life Support - American Heart Association - Required Work Shift:08.0 Per Diem No Waive (United States of America)Pay Range:$68.63 - $96.00HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure.Note: Positions at JMH which are exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are listed as hourly for compensation purposes on this posting.
