Make yourself at home with us and start doing your life's best work.(sm) The Complex Health Solutions Product Manager will be responsible for executing on strategic priorities as it relates to CHS's Special Needs Initiative (SNI) and Complex Care Concierge (C3) programs. Specifically, this work will focus on efforts in the space of clinical care delivery through partnerships with health systems and external organizations. These programs exist today, this role will focus on the short term continued execution of the programs and the long-term sustainability and growth. The populations served through these programs are small but have tremendous need and face many challenges in navigating the health care system, including the insurance and administrative components. Specially this work will support members that fall into three categories:

  • On a Diagnostic Odyssey, seeking answers for their undiagnosed symptoms/condition
  • In need of care planning and coordination, already diagnosed but with many complexities, including those that extend outside the healthcare delivery - such as financial, social, education supports
  • Those with a rare disease or requiring a new gene/cell/emerging medicine treatment for their condition This role on the team will be specifically responsible for the ownership of engagements with health systems and partnership with operations and reporting for the needs of the program. This role will support and provide input into the short- and long-term approaches to serve these populations, be accountable for sustainability of the network and providing the organization with the outcomes and benefits. The team member in this role will be accountable for components of the program such as measurement plan, appropriate execution of contracts, identifying success stories, working on opportunities to enhance the partnership, defining technology requirements and data analysis for growth opportunities. Broad responsibilities of this role and team will include setting the priorities for the program, developing a multi-year vision and roadmap, partnering with our operations and other functional areas to ensure execution of the product as its designed. This role will leverage data and reporting for key components such as the SNI & C3 Population ID model, product differentiators such as Intelligent Call Routing and to showcase the value of the program to our UHC Commercial customers via cost and outcomes studies.   • Manage complex projects in a self-directed manner. Showcasing a bias for action is critical
  • Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges
  • Eager and willing to learn, stretch to take on new responsibilities and have an inductive communication style
  • Work across the organization and have high exposure to our leadership team
  • Balance management of the existing, established program with launching new and innovative components
  • Gather feedback from the market, our customers, and our families so to improve the product design
  • Make fact-based decisions to support product enhancements, capital funding for technology projects and prioritization of the work
  • Manage the performance of the SNI product using customer satisfaction, feedback from our Family Engagement Center and analytics that highlights medical and administrative savings You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of commensurate experience
    • 2+ years of combined experience of program development, program measurement or product management within a matrix organization
    • 1+ years of experience working in healthcare, health delivery systems, with or for health plans -
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze and organize quantitative data to develop and support strategic plans
    • Ability to execute on identified deliverables either directly or influencing and driving internal and external partners
    • Identifies challenges and problem solves with key stakeholders to reach solutions that meet the unique needs of families.
    • Self-directed with proven organizational skills and ability to be flexible and work within a place of ambiguity
    • Ability -to work a hybrid (3 Days Office/2 Days Remote) work schedule in the following locatoins: Minnetonka, MN, San Antonio, TX, Atlanta, GA, & New York, NY
    • Up to 10% occasional travel
