What are some of the major job functions of our Physical Therapist Assistants - PTAs

* Assist Physical Therapist in treatment for the patient, and assist them with exercises and performing daily activities

* Interview patients, perform a physical examination, gain and update medical history from the patient

* Conduct manual exercises and assist patients in performing activities

* Assist in utilizing devices to support your patient's recovery like crutches or a wheelchair

What qualifies me to be a PTA with HCR ManorCare

Licensed or eligible for licensure in applicable state where working.

Educational Requirements

Graduate of accredited two-year Physical Therapy Assistant program and obtained a passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination or licensed, certified, or registered in accordance with applicable State law.

Position Requirements

Experience

Prior experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds. Walking, standing, bending, stooping and sitting for prolonged periods. Full use of gross and fine motor skills of the upper and lower extremities.

Job Specific Details:

SIGN-ON BONUS AVAILABLE!

This position will work a Monday - Friday work schedule, with a rotation of two weekends per month.
