Overview: -Plans and implements specific treatment programs for
individual patients according to the principles and practices of
physical therapy. Serves as a resource and provides structured
educational opportunities within the hospital in area(s) of
specialization.Job Description:EDUCATION
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy approved
by the American Physical Therapy Association with a B.S., or
B.A.degree required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy approved
by the American Physical Therapy Association with a M.A., or M.S.
degree preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy approved
by the American Physical Therapy Association with a D.P.T. degree
preferred. CERTIFICATION & LICENSUREPT-Physical TherapistBLS-Basic
Life Support Healthcare ProviderDEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION &
LICENSUREDL-California Drivers Class CEXPERIENCE5 years experience
in primary work assignment area.SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Collaborates with key stakeholders in developing
solutions.
- Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement
and ability to work independently.
- Knowledge and application of professional practice and
regulatory requirements.
- Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize
multiple priorities completing work duties within expected
timelines and requirements.
- Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
- Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication
(verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict
