RN-DH Responsibilities Under the director or designee, the registered nurse is responsible for providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The staff nurse provides care along the health care continuuem in accordance with the philosophy and policies of St. Mary---s Medical Center. The staff nurse utilizes principles of the nursing process and coordinates clinically related activities to provide for the effective delivery of healthcare. He or she is also responsible for delegation and supervision of personnel, in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. Current License in the State of California as a Registered Nurse. Current ACLS certification is required. Current PALS certification is required. Current American Heart BLS certification is required.
