Job DescriptionThe Clinic Supervisor oversees the efficient flow
of primary health care services with a high level of customer
service and seeks to optimize productivity and access. The Clinic
Supervisor models a culture of teamwork within the Clinic to
guarantee an excellent patient experience and ensures alignment
with MNHC's values. They also participate in a team effort to
increase the number of homeless individuals receiving medical and
behavioral health care by developing outreach strategies and
implementing plans to reduce barriers preventing them from
receiving care.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesThe Clinic
Supervisor has the following responsibilities and duties:
- Supervise team of assigned staff, including but not limited to
recruitment, hiring, orientation & training, performance coaching &
evaluation, and scheduling. For clinical staff, will be done in
coordination with Clinical Lead.
- Oversee clinic flow to optimize team productivity, ensure
positive staff and patient experience.
- Generate, monitor, and evaluate team productivity and access
data on a routine basis. Act on opportunities to improve team
productivity and patient access. Coach staff through to
improvement.
- Lead clinic huddles.
- Ensure sufficient clinic staff coverage.
- Under the supervision of the Clinical Lead and Program
Director, develops, refines, and enhances clinical programs,
initiatives, processes, policies, workflows, and projects that are
compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Reviews timeliness of closing encounters and follows up with
providers as needed.
- Under the oversite of the Program Director, collaborates with
DropIn Center staff to conduct outreach and education to increase
the number of unhoused adults receiving medical care in the
clinic.
- Participates in a team consisting of members from all program
areas of the Resource Center to develop and implement strategies to
reduce barriers for homeless folks to receive medical and
behavioral health care.
- Coordinate with case managers to address non-medical needs of
patients.
- Oversee PCMH compliance, examples of which include panel
management, TTNA assessment, same day appointments, medication
review/reconciliation.
- Under the direction of the Clinical Lead and Program Director,
routinely review, update, and implement the Quality Management Plan
including the development and implementation of standardized HRSA
and other grants' goals, objectives, indicators, and Quality
Improvement activities. Participates in the MNHC Quality
Improvement Committee. Qualifications & RequirementsThe Clinic
Supervisor should have the following skills, education and
experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Health Administration or a
related field required
- Bilingual in Spanish/English required
- Minimum 2 years' clinical experience
- Minimum 1 year quality improvement/assurance/management
experience
- Demonstrate cultural competence and practice behaviors that
demonstrate cultural embrace
