Responsibilities Include:
1. Delivering didactic curriculum in Radiology for school programs including our DDS , IDS , DH, specialty, and post-graduate programs.
2. Interfacing and consulting with all Radiology services users within the school to ensure optimal safety and diagnostic quality along with efficiency.
3. Scanning your specialty and other dental programs to ensure that our school is technologically current as well as optimal on patient care issues. A. Departmental courses to assist in providing content: DS 160 Dental Radiology (didactic) for both DDS and IDS First Year students DS 166 Dental Radiology (clinical) for both DDS and IDS First Year students DS 266 Clinical Dental Radiology Rotations for both DDS and IDS Second Year students DS 460 Radiology for Endodontic residents DH 113 Dental Oral Radiology (didactic) for Dental Hygiene First Year students DH 118 Dental Oral Radiology (clinical) for Dental Hygiene First Year students B. In addition to the traditional expectations for faculty members, the culture of humanism and collaboration at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry is especially important. There are also specific expectations the school has for your unique contributions to our programs.
i. Patient care
1. Participate in Radiology clinical consultation services: refine process, protocol, tracking, and follow-up, including with referral sources, if needed.
2. Collaborate and coordinate with Radiology faculty and technicians/ staff to provide ideal patient care and student learning.
3. Ensure that our school's equipment is state-of-the-art and well maintained.
4. Confirm that the School's Quality Assurance protocols are being followed in Radiology Services. C. Appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level with a salary line _________plus benefits as outlined in the Faculty Handbook (available online on the school's web site). Basic Qualifications DDS / DMD and completion of a Specialty Program in Radiology.
