Presidio Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery facility which has been providing high quality care to patients in San Franciso since 1989. Modern medical advances have made it possibble for an adult or child to have non-emergency surgery and return home the same day. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and Medicare Certified, meeting the highest quality of standards, and consistently exceeding national benchmarks for safety.

The OR Charge provides nursing and operational flow support to the OR staff at the Center. This position does not directly supervise personnel. However, as the charge nurse is implementing the manager's policy, the staff is expected to follow direction .

  Qualifications
  
  

• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of California.
• Successful completion of AHA approved Basic Cardiac Support Course, ACLS and PALS.
• Experience in clinical nursing area of OR required (3yrs +) and PACU is preferred.
• Recent experience in ambulatory surgery is preferred.
• Recent charge/supervisory experience a plus
