THE OPPORTUNITY

As the head of Portfolio Marketing, you have strong knowledge in sales methodologies and go-to-market strategies to align messaging and positioning across disparate product lines and help create compelling content. Specifically, this role encompasses technical marketing, portfolio marketing and solutions marketing.

You are ambitious, energetic, organized and task oriented. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where there are opportunities to learn and grow. Written and verbal communications is one of your strong suits and you feel comfortable communicating with people from various market segments and levels within a company. You have experience building processes that efficiently align people and priorities with relevant learnings, communications and coaching.

RESPONSIBILITIES


* Partner with Sales and Marketing Leadership to identify knowledge and skills gaps across teams; determine opportunities for sales improvement by continuously enhancing supporting marketing materials.

* Serve as the keylock between business units, sales and corporate marketing functions.

* Suggest and implement new and innovative ideas/programs.

* Build relationships with a wide variety of internal stakeholders to understand their goals, their challenges; develop and execute specific marketing plans.

* Work with internal teams to create and package high-value, field tools (sales playbooks, training decks, presentations, demos, video modules, creative, competitive assessments, whitepapers, etc.). Serve as a bridge between Product Marketing and Sales such that Sales is always armed with the right content with the right message at the right time.

* Support product launch activities and assist with Tradeshows, Conferences and Technical Sales Training or Channel Partner Training activities.

* Take a data-driven and analytical approach to deciding on future initiatives, as well as performance management to quantify the impact of existing programs; continuously improve upon the range of deliverables to enhance ROI.

* 10+ years of sales enablement/productivity, sales development (SDR role), or product marketing experience.

* Charismatic, great presence, deep empathy, and sharp on product understanding.

* Industry and product knowledge is a plus.

* Sales experience and/or technical proficiency provides added credibility.

* Must have the ability to clearly articulate the technical differentiators of a given product.

* Ability to deliver results in a fast moving, highly matrixed environment.

* Deep understanding of sales, sales development and enablement strategies.

* Demonstrable communication skills, specifically presentation skills.

* Always do the right thing and represent Marvell with ethics and integrity.
