The Line of Business (LoB) for Digital Products & Projects is at the heart of the digital transformation that creates an intelligent enterprise. The COMPANY industry-leading portfolio of cloud and industry-specific R&D/Engineering solutions is uniquely positioned to enable our customers’ digital transformation across all key aspects of their business value chain. Areas addressed by these COMPANY solutions include ideation/concept development, portfolio/project management, product development, and compliance management. The Digital Products & Projects LoB provides thought leadership, develops Go-To-Market strategies and executes the global COMPANY Go-to-market plan to grow COMPANY’s software and cloud business. The LoB Digital Products & Projects team is part of the Digital Supply Chain organization, which addresses primarily the Chief Operating Officers, Design and Compliance executives in manufacturing and distribution intensive industries. Core responsibilities are to drive and execute market penetration for relevant COMPANY solutions in this market segment, with focus on software and cloud subscription revenue, partner offering, sales cycle support, LoB community representation & C-level communication, and managing a team of solution managers. The Head of the LoB team will act as the global business leader for the R&D/Engineering market, is accountable for LoB revenue and pipeline, establishes and maintains key customer relationships, ensures that customer issues are addressed, and becomes the brand ambassador for the LoB worldwide. The VP and Global Head of Digital Products & Projects Solution Management directly reports to the SVP and global head of Digital Supply Chain solution management. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS Drives revenue and market share growth Articulates the value of our solutions (thought leadership) Researches and monitors market trends and external influences that effect COMPANY's solution offering Develop solution strategies and road maps together with the COMPANY Development organization Provide asset content and drive positioning together with regional teams and solution marketing Enables COMPANY field organization and partners for proactive, value-based selling Develops effective working relationships and trusted advisor status with key customers and partners Initiates demand generation activities to address white spaces and ensure pipeline coverage Maintains and grows the global partner eco-system to complement our solutions Leads and manages an international virtual team of solution experts EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Required skills CXO level presence and credibility Ability to articulate clear business problems and explain how technology can address in detail Deep understanding of supply chain planning discipline and COMPANY solutions and architecture MBA or comparable degree Strategic and entrepreneurial skills with ability to be creative, flexible and adaptable Track record of strong execution to exceed goals Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills in English Excellent interpersonal skills, proven track record of building strong credible relationships Preferred skills Strong project management skills with the ability of multi-tasking as the standard mode of operation Proven virtual team leadership skills in a matrix organization Strong analytical and problem-solving skills WORK EXPERIENCE Minimum 5+ years’ experience related to R&D and Engineering solutions in sales, solution management, consulting or pre-sales roles, or working directly in R&D organisations of COMPANY customers
