The Opportunity The VP of Real Estate & Development at Company leads the design and growth of Company’s markets and clinics including: new and existing market evaluation and planning, site selection, lease negotiation, budgeting, office design and & construction. The VP is accountable to hit office launch deadlines, budgets and resulting revenue. The VP must be an operator who can drive results, inspire cross functional commitment to scale the business, and deliver the brand promise in a physical space. Strong collaboration with marketing/brand, sales and finance is essential. What you'll likely work on: Managing a team of real estate, design and construction professionals who are charged with helping Company grow quickly Planning for the ideal future locations in the future Driving new and existing market growth plans based on financial performance metrics; creating a path to large office growth multiples Project managing the growth of all new clinics/offices for Company; on time, under budget Planning and implementing all office refreshes Managing corporate leases for Company headquarters Owning lease management for all Company real estate Building the organizational muscle to scale real estate development Ensuring that our office “prototypes” work to reflect our new brand standards Making sure the trains are all running on current portfolio growth - hitting our timelines and budgets You'll be set up for success if you have the following experience: Bachelors degree. Masters preferred 8+ years of recent directly applicable experience Multi-unit experience, preferably retailer Experience managing site selection, lease negotiations, landlords, etc. Experience with growth companies scale as well as portfolio management Experience with managing and driving the design process Experience with managing the construction process You’ll also be set up for success if you are the kind of person that: Sets objectives to align with broader organizational goals. Anticipates land mines and plans approach accordingly. Is fully autonomous; can manage executive relationships Marshals resources (people, funding, material, support) to get things done. Orchestrates multiple activities simultaneously to accomplish a goal
