Rippling.com addresses.About the roleAs the Senior Fraud Strategy &
Analytics Manager, you will play a vital role in protecting our
organization's integrity by developing and implementing strategies
to address overall platform fraud risk, account takeover (ATO)
fraud risk, suspicious activity detection, and fraud risk control
related to product access and adverse actions. You will leverage
your analytical skills and business acumen to build robust fraud
prevention strategies, working closely with data science, security,
product, and compliance teams.What you will do
- Develop and implement advanced fraud risk control strategies
for ATO, platform suspicious activity detection, and financial
product access.
- Utilize SQL and Python to perform complex data analysis and
derive insights for risk management and strategy development.
- Design and refine fraud detection algorithms and rules to
identify and mitigate suspicious activities across our
platform.
- Enhance policies and controls to prevent unauthorized account
access and adverse actions, collaborating with security engineering
to implement effective tracking and detection systems.
- Conduct data-driven investigations and analyses to uncover
fraud patterns and optimize detection methodologies.
- Balance fraud prevention with user experience and operational
efficiency, conducting cost-benefit analyses to inform strategic
decisions.
- Collaborate across teams, including Security, Sales, Customer
Service, and Compliance, to enhance fraud monitoring and response
capabilities.
- Partner with R&D to design, build, and maintain tools for
fraud detection and investigation, ensuring they meet evolving
business needs.What you will need
- 8+ years of experience in fraud prevention and detection, with
a focus on account security and platform risk management, ideally
within the financial technology sector.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Mathematics,
Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline); a Master's
degree is preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and the ability to
leverage SQL and Python for advanced fraud detection and strategy
development.
- Strong understanding of account takeover risks, suspicious
activity patterns, and fraud prevention methodologies.
- Familiarity with industry-leading tools and third-party risk
vendors for fraud detection and analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and compliance
requirements related to fraud risk management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the
ability to articulate complex data insights and risk strategies to

salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the

someone's compensation-including a candidate's professional
background, experience, and location. Final offer amounts may vary
from the amounts listed below.The pay range for this role
is:141,000 - 246,750 USD per year (US San Francisco Bay Area)
