Job Description:

Seeking an experienced IT Director to lead the successful implementation of Epicor ERP across a manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Epicor, and demonstrate a strong background in IT leadership, project management, and business process optimization. As the IT Director, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation, ensuring seamless integration with current systems, and aligning the ERP solution with our business goals to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.Key Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the implementation of Epicor ERP across the organization.Collaborate with department heads, stakeholders, and key users to assess business needs and ensure the ERP system is aligned with organizational goals.Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timeline, resource allocation, and key milestones for the ERP implementation.Manage and coordinate internal and external resources, including ERP consultants, vendors, and IT staff.Ensure data migration, system integration, and customizations are completed effectively, minimizing disruptions to business operations.Provide leadership in IT strategy, ensuring the ERP implementation is aligned with broader business objectives.Train and mentor IT staff and end-users on Epicor ERP best practices and functionality.Monitor system performance and address any issues or challenges during and after implementation.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, ERP advancements, and Epicor updates to ensure the system remains relevant and beneficial for the organization.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT leadership, with a focus on ERP implementations.Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle Epicor ERP implementation.Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.Deep understanding of business processes, particularly in manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and inventory management.Ability to manage cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.Familiarity with system integrations, data migration, and ERP customizations.Preferred Qualifications:Experience working within the manufacturing or distribution industries.Certifications in Epicor ERP or related technologies.Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and IT infrastructure management.Oscar Associates Limited (US) is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
