Read on.***Rare opportunity to be a key lead for one of Nectar's most strategic, high-profile, and fastest-growing accounts. This kind of role is few and far between in the agency world - the experience you gain has the potential to change the trajectory of your career. Plus, you'd be a Nectarine, and Nectarines are awesome.This Hybrid/Remote role is responsible for top-level strategy, program development, and ultimate success of the account, inclusive of results and client and team happiness. Plus as a Sr. Account Director, you'll play an integral role on the Nectar management team.Day-to-day you will be developing strategic communications plans and serve as a primary senior contact providing strong counsel while anticipating client needs and interacting with senior-level client contacts and co-managing an annual multi-million dollar account.You will serve as a mentor, manager, and lead example for all account teams on client management, quality assurance, staff development, and strategic guidance. As a leader of the Nectar team, you will also be expected to drive agency-wide efforts like new business, contribute to the culture, and live Nectar's values of Gutsy, Curious and Collaborative.What You'll Do:Client Counsel & Communication - Provide the highest caliber of client service and executive level counsel and strategic client communicationsStrategy & Counsel - Demonstrate a deep understanding of client brands and communication goals; understands the market position and competitive set; the ability to connect the dots and provide strategic recommendations based on knowledge and understanding of the industry players and climateAccount Management - Independently run account work streams; develop and execute strategic programs and initiatives; manage annual budgets and staffing for successStellar Work - Ensure quality work from the team to meet/exceed client expectationsMedia Relations - High-stakes and high touch media relations, guide overall media strategy and campaigns; maintain and build relationships with the press, and have a consistent pulse on what's happening in the industryIntegrated Communications - have an understanding of paid and earned communications and how they work together to produce the best results for clientsAgency Development - Oversee internal account teams; provide guidance and create development opportunities for staff at all levelsIndustry Expert - Hold a deep roster of industry contacts and actively network for business opportunities as well as talent.What You'll Bring:8 + years in tech public relations, media relations, or corporate communications4-5 years of direct experience managing teamsExperience with B2B and enterprise technology, product PR, and corporate communicationsExperience with start-ups and large accountsCollaborative team playerExcellent verbal, research, writing, editing and client interaction skills---Extremely detail-oriented, organized and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentHas a passion and curiosity of learningServant-Leader mindsetWhat We Offer:Highly competitive salary---Annual bonus opportunityHealth, dental, vision and chiropractic/acupuncture insurancePaid parental leave401k with company matchFlexible Vacation PolicyCell phone reimbursement---Mental health servicesWellness reimbursementLocation: Flexible Remote/Hybrid working environmentWeekly lunch stipend and office snacksSalary: $150,000-160,000What We Stand For:Nectar PR is an equal opportunity employer.
