A combined room-count of nearly 200 rooms and suites allows us to create a memorable experience for any occasion!JOB SUMMARY:Estate Yountville is seeking a talented and experienced Director of Catering to join our team. As the Director of Catering, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of our catering operations, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service and unforgettable experiences to our clients.   • Oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of all catering events, from intimate gatherings to large weddings.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and expectations to ensure a personalized experience.
  • Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, staffing, and equipment rentals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive catering strategy in line with the overall business goals.
  • Create and manage catering budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to set pricing strategies and achieve revenue targets.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing catering team, including event managers, chefs, and service staff.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance staff skills and performance.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Respond to client feedback and concerns promptly, striving for resolution and continuous improvement. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • At least 6 years of progressive hotel catering sales experience preferred
    • Bachelor's degree required.
