SummaryQuartzy is seeking a high energy Account Manager to call
on existing Quartzy accounts in either the For Profit and
Non-Profit segments. In this role, you will build relationships
with existing accounts to grow revenues and gross profits from your
territory/ list of accounts. This role requires a thorough
knowledge of the academic or biotech life science supply market,
and the ability to analyze data to locate, develop, negotiate, and
close new business opportunities. Experience/ knowledge of
technology solutions, software or SaaS is a plus.You're the type of
person who is motivated by building relationships. It's easy for
you to communicate with others - by both listening and empathizing
as well as getting your point across in a clear and concise manner.
You're naturally curious, and don't stop asking questions until you
fully understand the situation. While you are competitive by
nature, you like working in a team environment and are motivated by
the success of those around you. You should be accustomed to
handling your own pipeline and meeting demanding quotas.Why

them.What You'll Do
- Work with an assigned group of existing customers to expand our
relationship with a goal of adding new users, new labs, and
products features to support the company's Gross Profit goals.
- Effectively build, manage, and report on your pipeline, using
tools like SalesForce, Outreach.com, Looker and others.
- Own the commercial relationship with the customers.
- Communicate and educate across customer organizations,
including Purchasing/Finance, IT, scientists, department
leaders(research),and lab managers.
- Partner with Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams to
ensure customer retention, adoptionand growth.It's a fit if:

- Min 3 years sales or account management experience(preferably
in the academic or biotech space) with proven track record of
overachievement
- Knowledge and application of the principles of laboratory
supply chain
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Fantastic written and verbal communication ability
- Eager to learn and grow
- Bachelor's degree or considerable and relevant work
experience
- A tech savvy person who is experienced working with a variety
of different technology(we use Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn
Navigator, ZoomInfo and other sales automation/enablement
tools)
- Interest(or a background) in life science would be helpful
- Prior experience working / selling remotely, a plusWhat We

approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. The
pay scale salary/On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this position
represents the low, middle, and high end of the salary or OTE
(sales roles) range for this position based on all US locations. To
determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors,
including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate's
skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary/OTE
is just one component of our total rewards package. The pay scale
or OTE ranges may be modified in the future.Salary range: USD
$65,500 - $90,000 USD $All regular exempt full-time employees are
also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales
incentive,(target included in OTE), stock options, and excellent
