This position will be responsible for performing all functions of the standard cost system and providing analysis of item costing and inventory transactions, gross margin analysis, budget to actual analysis and supporting the budgeting and forecasting process for cost of revenue processes. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated problem solver with strong teamwork skills and a desire to drive change. This position will be part of an integrated team that believes that collaboration, flexibility, resourcefulness, and attention to detail are the keys to success.What you'll do:Manage day-to-day inventory and cost accounting in Oracle, including preparation of related journal entriesReview and maintain standard costs, including labor and overhead ratesReview and maintain yields, touch times and costing routesPerform period-end inventory module closePerform period-end inventory reconciliationsPerform period-end cost of goods sold analysis and reconciliationsPrepare period-end inventory reporting package, including inventory valuation and trends, E&O requirements, inventory turns calculations and cycle count reviewsParticipate in periodic cycle count auditsProvide trended flux analysis for product margins as well as variances to budgetWork with Operations to prepare annual budgets and report on budget to actualsWork with Operations on inventory transactions, BOMs review and costing exercisesEvaluate and take actions related to cost and other improvement initiatives within Operations, analyzing various alternatives and implementing new systems as appropriateAssist with SOX 404 and business process documentationsProvide quarter-end and year-end audit supportWhat you bring:5 plus years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environmentBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA Designation completed or in processStrong inventory management experience in a medical device environment or diagnostic preferredExperience with ERP systemsFluency in Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of 2013 COSO framework and experience applying the framework in a manner that supports SOX compliance and operational efficienciesSelf-motivated, deadline driven, and results oriented; a problem solver with strong teamwork skills and strong desire to drive changeStrong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills that allow effective interactions and communications across functional areasCompensation:$ 143.500,00 - 179.300,00: Northern California, New York$ 131.600,00 - 164.400,00: Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Rhode Island, Alaska, Southern California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Washington, Massachusetts, District of Columbia (Washington D.C.)$ 119.600,00 - 149.400,00: All other states
