OVERVIEW:For nearly 175 years, Jewish Family and Children's

community.POSITION SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the Associate
Executive Director, the Program Coordinator - Domestic Violence
Case Management plays a vital role in the oversight and
implementation of programs serving at-risk families in the regions
we serve based in San Francisco. The Program Coordinator
understands and assists in meeting budget and services goals,
understands the mission and objectives of Jewish Family and
Children's Services and works within the limitations of the
Agency's resources, and performs all duties in compliance with
agency standards.COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000

annuallyESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the effective provision of services to survivors of
intimate partner violence across the agency, including prevention,
treatment, and other supportive services
- Provides direct clinical and case management service to a
caseload of at-risk women and children, ensuring the provision of
safe housing and supportive services through screening of
applicants, conducting a full assessment, and developing and
implementing case management plans with a goal of self-sufficiency
and permanent housing for each client. Assigns cases to other adult
case managers in conjunction with the Associate Executive Director
and ensures that their work meets program standards.
- Develops and evaluates services to clients that reflect current
research and best practices in the field. Assesses client and
program needs and recommends and implements program changes to
improve and enhance services across all regions. Develops
outcomes/benchmarks that enable tracking of client progress across
a spectrum of measurable factors.
- Budgets responsibility for the program cost center. Meets fee
and service goals established in the annual work plan in areas,
manages grants and contracts supporting the program. Reviews
monthly financials and prepares variance reports.
- Serves as one of the Agency's spokespersons on issues related
to effective advocacy and provision of services to victims of
intimate partner violence. Offers staff and community education and
training on family violence prevention across the lifespan based on
best practices in the field.
- Outreaches to and collaborates effectively with other
organizations and institutions, including organizations serving
victims of domestic violence and synagogues and other organizations
serving the Jewish community
- Maintains up-to-date information on public policy relevant to
Domestic Violence and reports to JFCS' Public Issues Committee on
this issue as requested
- Prepares reports and statistical information for Agency
Executive Management and Development Department staff and assists
in producing reports for fundersQUALIFICATIONS:
- Mental health/social service professional, with 3+ years of
direct case management and administrative experience
- Masters' degree in related field is preferred
- Experience providing trauma-informed care. Special knowledge in
the areas of domestic violence is preferred
- Experience providing Clinical Case Management services
- Knowledge of Bay Area community resources and knowledge of Bay
Area Jewish community preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
software programs is preferredTo be considered for this position,
