Overview


  • Healthcare Program Specialist -- Grants Management in Albany, NYItem 1015

    Responsibilities



      • Administraion project Coordination - -
      • Coordinate Contract Development to achieve contract execution for assigned grant -awards. Perform quality assurance reviews on all proposed budget modifications and -contract amendments. -
      • Oversee the Reimbursement Payment Process for assigned contracts, ensuring voucher -audits are conducted in a manner consistent with bureau policies and contractual -payment provisions.
      • Evaluates submission information to determine if acceptable. -
      • Oversee Contract Monitoring activities for executed contracts to ensure contract -provisions are met and ensure DOH is aware of project's progress and status.
      • Provide -financial forecasting, planning and quantitative analysis, including developing budget to -actual analysis. -
      • Coordinate Vendor Responsibility review to evaluate grantees and sub-contractors' -capacity to perform the requirements of the contract fully and overall responsibility as a -vendor. -
      • Developing Self: Shows evidence of personal development (e.g. -software skills -enhancement, financial training); completes specialized training as appropriate (e.g. -research, compliance, etc.); identifies ways to improve efficiency and accuracy. -
      • Other Projects Assigned -


        Qualifications
        Basic Qualifications:

        • 6 years of experience in healthcare
        • An associate's degree can count as 2 years of experience, a bachelor's degree can count as 4 years of experience, and a master's degree can count as 5 years of experience

          Preferred Characteristics:

          • 7 years of experience in project management or contract management
          • Bachelors' degree in a related field

            *Employees must follow established work schedules. The usual work schedule is 37.5 - hours per week, Monday through Friday. Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. unless otherwise specified by the supervisor, this includes a half hour unpaid lunch break. Total work hours must equal 37.5 hours per week. -

            Compensation
            Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.---As required by applicable law, SSO provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $19.00 hr. - $25.00 hr. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
