Job Description:

Title: GIS Project Manager
Location: 100% remote (company is based in San Francisco, CA)
Duration: Contract (6+ months eligible for extensions and full-time hire)

Managers Notes:
Highly prefer previous hands-on technical experience in GIS, PMP certification, and experience implementing/using ArcFM, ESRI GIS, or related technologies.

Experience Required:
" Five years or more experience managing software implementation projects in GIS domain.
" Demonstrated knowledge with utilities
" Expertise in the use of MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other software tools used for project management
" Knowledge of financial aspects of project management including standard project KPIs
" Project management software

" Proven ability to:
o Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
o Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
o Communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand.
o Manage one's own time and the time of others.
o Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Skills Required:
" Project management experience in a technology or software implementation environment.
" Experience with project management software.
" Ability to lead teams in a highly matrixed organization
" Strong presentation, written and oral communication skills.
" Previous Utility Experience managing a GIS project
