Position Summary:

This position will provide oversight to Supplemental Benefit vendor partners such as dental, vision, hearing, OTC, or non-emergent transportation benefits that contribute to organizational membership growth, experience, CAHPs and Stars, finances and the strategic vision. This role includes developing future road maps, managing the partner performance and developing and implementing improvements, new processes, training, and communication. The position will reside in the Member Experience department and will partner with Clinical, Product, Sales, Member Services, Technology departments to formulate and execute annual strategy and implementations.

General Duties/Responsibilities (May include but are not limited to):

  • Assess user needs that can be developed into requirements for incorporation into annual product strategy
  • Daily account management, operational enhancements, implementation and/or de-implementation.
  • Leads project teams that develop plans and scope that are tied to strategic organizational objectives, set project scope, and define schedules
  • Monitor and control work and develop action plans and recommendations when activities are not meeting objectives or incentives to meet stretch goals
  • Proactively address operational issues by identifying trends, data and information needed
  • Conduct outreach to provider offices or partners and identifies opportunities to improve and grow the Alignment-partner relationship
  • Proactively address complex operational issues and collaborate with team members to solve problems or identify next steps and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Understand partner market, competitors, customer experience goals, and identify ways to improve consumer experience for current vendors. This includes monitoring vendor market for new entrants and maintaining documentation on other companies capabilities
  • Create and manage Request For Proposal (RFP) projects in coordination with the Procurement team including creation of RFP, collection of responses, and facilitating a structured review process
  • Develop project plans, schedules and manage projects involving IT implementation, from vendor assessment through go-live and training.
  • Develop Vendor KPIs
  • Develop and document technical requirements for technology teams SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Minimum Experience:
  • 3 years related work experience in Project Management with large and complex projects and Service Management
  • Project manager certification and / or formal project management training, (experience in a similar role will be considered as an acceptable substitute)
  • Experience with development of process and work flows
  • Experience developing technical requirements
  • Preferred Requirements
  • Health insurance, healthcare industry or Medicare experience
  • Education/Licensure:
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable experience
  • Other:
  • Experience presenting at the executive level and tying the presentation to overall company goals
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in one-on-one and small-large group settings are essential.
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills
