Cisco Meraki - Product Manager, Cloud Monitoring (Switching) Engineer - Pre Sales and Product Management Compensation Range 121200 USD- 232900 USD Job Type Professional Cloud and Data Center, Internet of Everything, Networking, Security Job Id 1399046 The Cisco Meraki team is seeking a creative Product Manager to lead network management initiatives for Cisco's industry-leading switching products. In this role, you will actively contribute to building our vision for simplicity by ensuring that our customers have the information and tools they need at their fingertips. You will be responsible for both identifying what operational workflows are most critical to network administrators/operators and resolving how to enable them in a way that is intuitive and accessible, both through user interfaces and APIs. Your work will be instrumental in growing the reach of the Meraki platform to a wide variety of switching use cases and add value to Cisco's subscription offerings.Cisco Meraki is changing the way the industry thinks about networking, and you will lead the charge to continue this evolution. You will collaborate with forward-thinking engineers and customers to help ensure that we continue to deliver the best network management experience in the industry. You will work closely with senior leadership to establish a compelling strategy, and collaborate with our outstanding sales, marketing, and partner teams to continue and accelerate market adoption.In this position you will team up with some of the world's best engineers, UX designers, and researchers, as well as a variety of teams across both the Meraki organization and the broader Cisco community. You will develop a high degree of technical expertise, deliver high-impact presentations, and evangelize simplicity through our cloud-native networking technology.Responsibilities:

  • Actively discover and prioritize customer requirements
  • Work with colleagues throughout our engineering, UX, and PM teams to craft different ways to address new and existing use cases
  • Guide UI and API development for cloud-enabled management experiences
  • Define software strategy, roadmap, and positioning
  • Assist, enable and train our sales team
  • Serve as a technical resource and strategic advisor for network management efforts throughout the businessQualifications:
    • BA/BS in CS, EE, or equivalent professional experience
    • 5-7 years of work experience in switching and/or network management
    • Strong business background (ex: MBA, Product Management or Marketing)
    • Passion for learning about networking and cloud technologies
    • Strong design aesthetics and a passion for building outstanding user experiences

      When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. Applicants may not be eligible for the full salary range based on their U.S. hiring location. The recruiter can share more details about compensation for the role in your location during the hiring process.U.S. employees have access to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday, plus a day off for their birthday. Employees accrue up to 20 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) each year and have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues without tapping into their PTO. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community. Employees are also able to purchase company stock through our Employee Stock Purchase Program.Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco pays at the standard rate of 1% of incentive target for each 1% revenue attainment against the quota up to 100%. Once performance exceeds 100% quota attainment, incentive rates may increase up to five times the standard rate with no cap on incentive compensation. For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target.
