toughest problems.About this roleAs a trusted product expert, the
Product Manager for eFront Portfolio Monitoring will take ownership
of our existing solutions and contribute to inform our product
strategy.By connecting market trends and our client needs with
product engineering teams, you will have the opportunity to help
shape and execute eFront portfolio monitoring product strategy,
increase asset class and functional coverage, while continuing to
deliver a fully integrated solutions with the rest of the eFront
platform and Aladdin's Whole Portfolio Solution.We are looking for
a motivated product manager / owner to bring marketplace and
investment process knowledge to our Private Markets Front
&Middle office product team. This individual will help us
improve our current positioning, while defining the right
trajectory to combine directs and fund investments ex-post
performance analysis and risk analytics.Strong candidates will
bring their hands on experience in the Find tech and Alternatives
investment tech space. You will be aware / research the competitive
landscape and influence out technical and commercial decisions. You
will also lead new product initiatives, coordinate engagement with
users, oversee product roadmaps, and ensure unparalleled execution
to deliver winning products. Success in this product vertical will
both improve eFront Private solutions and Aladdin's overall value
offering and facilitate new growth opportunities, ultimately
contributing to bold Aladdin growth targets in the Private Markets
Front & Middle office space.Key Responsibilities:
- Working with other product managers to define the product
strategy and vision. Clearly articulate the business value to the
delivery teams so they understand the intent behind the new product
or product release. This implies a strong understanding of the
needs of Private Market investments industry, especially when it
comes to post acquisition investment monitoring phase.
- Responsibility for making product decisions and acting as the
lead resource for the rest of the organization when product
expertise is required. This includes supporting the wider BlackRock
organization (including Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and
Customer Support) that help bring the product to market and working
directly with clients.
- Define the product roadmap and work with other product managers
and the engineering team to build what matters and delivers value
to clients.
- Coordinating the agenda and product artifacts for product
governance forums and joint working groups. Summarizing decisions,
next steps, and feedback on product readiness for clients
- Own the development backlog: quarterly planning, backlog
grooming, sprint planning and delivery demoes.
- Defining, in collaboration with the engineering team and UI/UX
team, the features requirements, use cases, user Stories, and user
journey maps necessary to deliver a complete product/feature to
market.
- Manage Aha: ideas management, roadmap, epic and feature
prioritization, review feedback and new requests / client
commitments.Experience:
- 10+ years of Investment Process and related product experience.
Strong knowledge of financial technology solutions addressing
Private Markets
- Proven success managing large, cross functional, technical
projects by delivering measurable product value to demanding client
communities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including
the ability to communicate up and down the organization
- Proficiency working with both technical developers and
financial modelers as well as business leaders and target end
users
- Strong organizational, networking, problem-solving, and
planning skills. Familiarity with agile product development life
