This position navigates the respect and appreciation of its legacy clients combined with the desire to generate new partnerships. As our leader you must have prior major market sales management experience. A solid track record and history of successfully leading an entire sales team. Proven strategies to develop new business and non-traditional revenue are a must. Extensive experience in digital sales is key. Sports sales experience is a plus. Finally, we want good humans. • Lead all functions of the sales department including the hiring and supervising of all sales department personnel creating departmental objectives, developing, and executing sales strategies and revenue goals
• Manage inventory pricing, revenue forecasting, budget attainment, and growth of market share, expense management, creation of financial reports for accounting and return on investment analysis for the accounting and programming departments
• Identify economic and market trends, which impact sales targets and create strategies to maximize them. Create and implement new ways of marketing products, including the digital platforms, to maximize revenuePreferred Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements: -
  • College degree or equivalent experience -
  • Minimum of five years of broadcast sales & digital sales management, with major market experience and a track record of success
  • Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills to inspire staff and manage external relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal/time management skills and leadership ability
  • Ability to use analytics to optimize inventory and create ad products
  • Experienced in creating budgets and forecasting
  • Working knowledge of broadcast traffic operations

    -ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONHiring Salary Range: $235,000.00 - 275,000.00. -The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. -This position is bonus eligible.
