DescriptionAbout this roleYou will be part of the Aladdin Client
Transformation (ACT) team for eFront's regional Practice in North
America. As a member of the BlackRock family, eFront is on a path

increasing BlackRock's exposure to Alternative Investments and
providing new standards for Alternative Investments system
implementation. We are proud to be pioneering thought leadership
and innovative solutions in this space. You will integrate a
multifaceted and fast-growing team within the Client Services
department to play a key role in driving the expansion of eFront
solutions!The project manager will be dedicated to an upgrade
project and will be responsible in securing the proper delivery of
the upgrade projects as a member of the CUE (Center of Upgrade
Expertise).Manage pipeline of upgrades:
- Work with Aladdin Client Engagement team to help drive client
upgrades.
- Present and articulate the value of the CUE to potential
clients.
- Participate into the sales cycle to build and present services
value proposition to the prospects.
- Create and work with clients to refine Upgrade Statement of
Work (SOW).Effective overall responsibility for project management:
- Create and manage project plan, timeline, budget, forecast,
etc. leveraging internal tools (FrontPilot, Smartsheet, Retain
- Resource planning for necessary stakeholders in collaboration
with Resource Management and other Upgrade Managers.
- Manage clients through upgrade planning and execution. Lead
client meetings.
- Manage and communicate all deviations from plan
- Conduct project meetings, collaborate with project team members
to build consensus on challenging issues
- Build/design in collaboration with the Upgrade Consultants the
testing plan according to our clients' requirements: Smoke testing,
Business Process Testing, API tests, UI tests, Load and Performance
tests
- Communicate requirements and actively set & manage expectations
to ensure all team members and stakeholders (QA resources,
Implementation Consultants, SL3, CloudOps, Aladdin Product Group,
etc.) are accountable for their role in the project's overall
success.
- Prioritize tasks and manage issue resolution and/or
escalation.Contribute to the project delivery:
- Contribute to the Knowledge Base (Known issues by version
against upgrade in client environment). Can contribute to fixing
issues in configuration.
- Can contribute to reviewing Customizations and Interfaces
- Can contribute to running the testing tool with the QA
consultants, identify issues, fixes or workarounds
- Ensure document output from test phases are built and shared
with clientsContribution to the team:
- Monitor and control projects by actively identifying, tracking,
managing, mitigating and resolving project issues and risks -
provide the requested internal and external reporting
- Suggest process improvements.
- Suggest material improvements: documents, presentations,
etc.
- Participate to the continuous innovative development plan of
the CUE value proposition (eg. Participate in build out of
automated testing tools)
- 3-6 years of relevant work experience is preferredOur
